7 Days in Havana is a contemporary portrait of the city Havana that brought together a team of seven renowned international film makers— Benicio del Toro, Pablo Trapero, Elia Suleiman, Julio Médem, Gaspar Noé, Juan Carlos Tabío, and Laurent Cantet—and a first-rate cast that included Emir Kusturica, Daniel Brühl, Mirta Ibarra and Jorge Perugorría. The film was produced by Full House and Morena Films with the support of Havana Club International. It was included in the official selection for the “Un certain regard” (‘A particular outlook’) category at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
