Port of Havana

HAVANA CLUB

There’s the Port of Havana, passing through what they call the Plaza de las Palomas, up to the Plaza Vieja, that area is very… well, I mean, to go for a walk around there, to breathe the air, to feel the air that blows through there, and to see the colour of the people, that's what's so important and so lovely, it gives you a lot of strength and a lot of energy, it’s beautiful, really beautiful. And most of all, I love to watch the sunset in La Bahía, not in Malecón or around here. I mean, lots of people like Malecón, but it’s the culture of the bay in Havana, you know? Watching the sunset to me is so important and it gives me so much energy and vitality. These are feelings that you get, through, I mean, feelings that I get, or feelings that I try to express through music, most of all.
