In Vedado 23 y 12, most of all, as that’s where a lot of people go to meet up. In other areas, that’s where people live, like here in Centro Habana, people live, or just survive. But in 23 y 12, people go there, I mean, they go down there to look for something to do, and there’s so much to do down in 23 y 12. There’s a cinema, there are places to eat, there’s a cemetery nearby, it’s close to Malecón… I mean, there are four routes that lead to different places, to the sea, to the cemetery, to Vedado through Rampa, I mean, it’s like the meeting place of life itself, you know? And there are so many people, loads from Centro Habana go there, and from Miramar. To me, that’s what’s most important, that people meet up down there, especially since one of Cubans’ biggest passions is to go to the cinema.
