My Havana: Leonardo Padura
Leonardo Padura

“There are two places outside Havana with which I have a particularly strong affinity: one is here in Mantilla, where I was born, and the other is the suburb
La Víbora, where I studied before going to university. La Víbora is a place filled with memories of my current friends and of the relationship with my wife who is from the area. I think of La Víbora with nostalgia, as a place that stirs memories and melancholy, it is part of who I am today.”
