What: Alternative Habana takes over Madrid.

Alternative Habana will take over the center of Madrid next Saturday 12th of September from 11.00 am up to midnight in Triball’s neighbourhood with Havana 7 Cultura. The Cuban capital will transmit its incredible desire of living with an event that will turn for one day Triball’s streets and places (Ballesta’s triangle: Corredera Baja de San Pablo, Calle Ballesta, Loreto y Chicote) into a small Havana thanks to Havana Club 7’s hand.

The actor Jorge Perugorria will be the godfather of Havana 7 Cultura, the first occasion of enjoying island’s new talents and creativity. From 12 pm, there will be performances of artists like Haydee Milanés or Free Hole Negro. You will be able to take delight with the gastronomy of La Guarida, to enjoy a selection of short films made by the prestigious Cuban school of San Antonio de los Baños, or to be present at the “repremiere” of Fresa y Chocolate, among other activities, and certainly to live and fill you out with the atmosphere and the animations straight in the street.
