Working the angles on an experimental hip hop tip, Doble Filo has existed in various incarnations since 1995, for the most part as a duo. However, Yrak Saenz and Edgaro (aka Edgar Gonzales) recently teamed up with a third member, DJ Dark aka Alain Medina. The group’s hip hop credentials are impeccable. Not only did they originate in Alamar, the hub of Havana’s hip hop scene, but they share credit for starting the multi-disciplinary art collective La FabriK.
